Cool Change

COOL CHANGE features a reverse floor plan with 1st floor master, while kitchen, dining /living area are all on second floor. The 15' x 30' great room with vaulted ceiling opens to a large 24' x 10' veranda on which you can relax, while enjoying soothing gulf breezes and surf sounds (and even a teasing peek at the gulf). The spacious back yard dressed in artificial turf invites guests to relax OR play. Yard games are plentiful. New owners have completely refreshed a classic Carillon home strategically situated in a perfect location - across the street from the Gulf of Mexico between two dune beach walkovers and equidistant from two community pools as well as tennis/pickle ball courts, children's play area and (full court) basketball. It's almost like being ON the gulf without paying big gulf-front prices.

*One set of canvas beach chairs with an umbrella, are provided daily for you on the beach at walk-over 2 (March 1 - Oct 31). Additional beach chairs may be procured through the on-site beach service. As with all Carillon Beach Rentals, beach towels are provided for our guests.

COOL CHANGE is located in the sequestered gated community of Carillon Beach on the Gulf of Mexico, which enjoys 3900 feet of uncrowded, white, sugary-sand beaches. Amenities include 3 community pools: Bellview Park, Beach Club Pool (located on the Gulf of Mexico), and East Pool. There are tennis/pickle ball courts, full basketball court, children's play area and large green spaces. This is a walking, biking, golf cart community with cafe, exercise club, general store, and Baliage salon and spa. In addition to the manned entrance gate, Carillon also employs licensed security officers who patrol the grounds to ensure the safety of our guests. Carillon Beach is a 'Mayberry USA' beach community where lasting, even generational, memories are created. Also, Carillon Beach is a disability friendly community with a wheelchair lift to the main pool area and a handicapped accessible ramp from the pool to the beach. The upscale shopping and restaurants of Rosemary Beach and 30A are only a 3-minute drive away.

PARKING POLICY: 3 vehicles and 1 golf cart permitted. Maximum of one Vehicle or Golf Cart in the street adjacent gravel area to be parked at any time in front of a home. Charging the golf cart must take place in the driveway.

GUARD GATE ENTRANCE PROCEDURE AND HOA PARKING POLICY: The Carillon Beach HOA has implemented a QR code entrance procedure for renters at the main entrance. All vehicles must register and pay a $35/vehicle gate entrance fee to enter Carillon Beach. Upon registration, you will receive a QR code that you will use at the entrance scanner.

  We had a comfortable and memorable stay at Cool Change! First of all, a great location right across the street from beach walkover. The House was very clean and made us all feel comfy and welcome. The beds made me sleep like I was in my bed at home. No complaints from my adult kids either. They brought their children ages 5 and under with them. The kiddos and adults really enjoyed the nice fenced backyard, a convenience that is hard to find. We grilled out twice and the children played games there. Also, the outdoor decks were enjoyed very much! Beach towels were provided and a washer /dryer was available snd used a lot! There was a beautiful full service kitchen with plenty of utensils provided. We cooked quite a bit since we had small children and would be hard to go out and eat every night. We have stayed in this Carillon neighborhood for 12 years. We keep coming back because the neighborhood is so nice and kept very manicured and neat. There is a guardhouse only allowing the residents inside. We have always felt safe there. It’s a great place to ride bikes and their 4 pools are very nice and good sized. Of course , the main feature, the beach , is never crowded and plenty of room to enjoy. It’s always neat and clean and beach chairs were provided and used often. This house was beautiful and is a great location and we’ll be back again soon !!

  What a great week and a great house. Cool Change was just that -- a cool comfortable change from our regular home, but oh so welcoming and inviting. The back yard was a safe and fun place to relax with my two-year-old granddaughter -- that is a very unique feature for beach houses -- what a plus. Our crew agreed that all the mattresses were comfortable, the house was quite clean, and the kitchen was very well stocked. Location was wonderful. One beach walk-over was 3 minutes away to the east and another was 5 minutes away to the west. The family pool and pickle ball courts (and tennis court) were just blocks away -- 10 minute walk or 4 minute bike ride (we rented bikes). The quaint village was also 4 or 5 blocks away. Wonderful accommodations in a great location within Carillon. Looking forward to booking this place again next year.

  We love Carillon and our multigeneration family has stayed there 3 years in a row. This was our first stay at Cool Change which was a perfect family fit..expansive open kitchen/family room, inviting backyard with oversized yard games and ideal bedroom/bunk configurations. The home was very clean and beautifully decorated.
  
  We had one minor issue with a bedroom TV, which was responded to immediately. We loved the large porches and would love it if each had fans, so that they could be enjoyed more.
  
  We will return to Carillon and very likely, to Cool Change.

  Cool Change was the perfect rental for our family of 9. The property was very clean, well maintained, and beautifully decorated. All the beds were comfortable. The kitchen had everything needed plus more. It had more variety of pans and dishes than I have in my house. The outside grill was clean and had 2 propane tanks. The Property Manager checked in with me several times and before check-in she was responsive to my questions. This house is so well maintained, there was nothing that needed to be improved. There are beach toys, nice beach towels, and most important it is close to two beach accesses. I'm already looking at dates to return.

  We loved Cool Change! So many great things to say about this home. It’s just across the street from two beach accesses, which made it very easy to get to the beach chairs. The backyard is beautifully manicured and came with some fun yard games and a gazebo with lights. Just perfect for everyone to enjoy while we were using the Weber grill. The outdoor shower was great to have as well.
  
  The interior of the home was absolutely beautiful. The reverse floor plan made it really nice for everyone to enjoy the huge kitchen and vaulted ceilings of the living room. We had coffee and breakfast on the deck every day and really enjoyed being on the second floor for that. The bathrooms were really spacious and classy, especially the master suite. The kitchen was well stocked with anything we needed as we cooked most of our meals at home. All of the furniture was comfortable too.
  
  We will definitely be looking to stay here again! Thank you to Sandels by the Sea for the great communication and helping with anything we needed during our stay!

  Overall a great experience! We paid for an early arrival and had some issues at the gate (they didn’t have our reservation) and were delayed getting a door code- but once that was resolved we were good.
  
  The house is very spacious so everyone has private areas and the balconies provide extra places for dining. The backyard is perfect for children to play- thankful for the toys provided! Kitchen is nicely equipped for family meals.
  
  The location is perfect- across the street from boardwalk 2- and having beach chair set up the week of Thanksgiving was a wonderful surprise. There were 6 of us- and everyone had plenty of space to spread out, while the common areas were plenty large enough for family gatherings & meals.

  Cool Change is the perfect family rental! Right across the street from the beach boardwalk- the location is so convenient. The reverse layout of the home provides everyone with privacy and room to spread out.   Our stay at this beautiful home was a dream! The decor and style of the home instantly relaxes you when you walk in, and you truly can’t beat the location.
