The Lucky Duck

You truly are a Lucky Duck, if you get to vacation in this newly re-furbished Carillon Beach home. New owner has refreshed a Carillon Classic home strategically situated in a perfect location in the heart of Carillon---on Lake Carillon and directly across the street from the Beach Club Pool and the Gulf of Mexico. This newly painted beach home features three king bedrooms, one on the first floor, an oversized master BR (with private balcony) on the second floor and day bed/trundle in the 3rd floor tower. Take in stunning views from the expansive porches on all three floors of this lovely home. Enjoy a nap, some quiet conversation or read a book on a screened in porch at the rear of the home, overlooking Lake Carillon. It's almost like being on the gulf without paying gulf-front prices.

*Two sets of beach chairs (4 loungers), pads and umbrellas are provided daily (March 1 - Oct 31) by the main Gulf pool walkover. Beach towels are provided in the home for our guests.

THE LUCKY DUCK is located in the sequestered gated community of Carillon Beach on the Gulf of Mexico, which enjoys 3900 feet of uncrowded, white, sugary-sand beaches. Amenities include 3 community pools: Bellview Park, Beach Club Pool (located on the Gulf of Mexico), and East Pool. There are tennis/pickle ball courts, full basketball court, children's play area and large green spaces. This is a walking, biking, golf cart community with cafe, exercise club, general store, and Baliage salon and spa. In addition to the manned entrance gate, Carillon also employs licensed security officers who patrol the grounds to ensure the safety of our guests. Carillon Beach is a 'Mayberry USA' beach community where lasting, even generational, memories are created. Also, Carillon Beach is a disability friendly community with a wheelchair lift to the main pool area and a handicapped accessible ramp from the pool to the beach. The upscale shopping and restaurants of Rosemary Beach and 30A are only a 3-minute drive away.

NOTE: YOU WILL NOT BE CONFIRMED OR COMMITTED UNTIL SPEAKING WITH THE MGR. PERSONALLY TO ASSURE THAT THIS IS THE RIGHT HOME FOR YOU.

PARKING POLICY: 3 vehicles and 1 golf cart. Maximum of one Vehicle or Golf Cart in the gravel area to be parked at any time in front of (or in the case of a corner lot on the side of) a home, in the HOA Gravel. NO Golf Cart Charging of a cart that is parked on any HOA Gravel area. Charging must take place in the driveway of a home it is identified with.

GUARD GATE ENTRANCE PROCEDURE AND HOA PARKING POLICY: The Carillon Beach HOA has implemented a QR code entrance procedure for renters at the main entrance. All vehicles must register and pay a $35/vehicle parking fee to enter Carillon Beach. Upon registration, you will receive a QR code that you will use at the entrance scanner.

  My family of 7 loved staying at The Lucky Duck. All of the porches were one of the reasons we picked this house and they were great. The view of the lake from the kitchen and family room was a nice surprise I wasn’t expecting. We loved the incredibly short walk to the beach pool and our beach chairs. And that top balcony had such a great view of the ocean. We loved the location of this home. We could walk to the playground and basketball court and the other pool pretty easily. We also walked to get pizza one night and ice cream and walked to the Panama City Coffee shop ( wonderful, high quality coffee) several times. We hope to be able to come back and stay at The Lucky Duck again!

We love the location of being on the Lake and a few short steps from the Beach Club Pool and the Main Beach Walkover. the house is very clean and spacious and has an open and well-equipped kitchen.   We are a family of 4 that stayed here for Fall Break. This house was perfect. We had lots of room to spread out. There is a ton of outdoor living that we enjoyed every day. We loved backing up to the lake and it's a very short walk to the beach. You can see the ocean from the second and third floors. The house is right in the middle of everything and a very short walk to the downtown Carillon area. This was the best-stocked vacation rental I've ever stayed in. The kitchen had everything and more that we needed. The house was very clean, had nice linens and new bath towels. The beach towels that were provided were also a great bonus. The house included 4 chair rentals in a great location on the beach. Karen was very quick to respond and help us with an issue that was not directly related to the rental. I give this house 5 stars and would stay here again. Thank you for sharing your house with us! We hope to be back.

  Awesome house, inside and out! The interior is very comfortable and spacious. Well equipped kitchen. Even had beach towels. The exterior has unbelievable covered porches downstairs and upstairs. The screen porch on the back was a great escape from the heat during the day. Views are great, particularly off the third-floor balcony. I’ve stayed in the neighborhood multiple times and this house has a great location just across from the pool and beach access.

  This was our 7th year at Carillon Beach and as usual it did not disappoint. We've vacationed other places, and this just feels like home to us. The Lucky Duck is probably the nicest place we have stayed in thus far. The house was big enough for our adult kids and younger kids to spread out and have their own spaces. I don't even think we used all of the porches!!! But the side porch with all the sitting chairs was definitely a fan favorite. Our friends rented a different house, but they have an avid fisherman in their family and he was able to fish in the lake right behind us. The weather didn't always cooperate with us this year, but it didn't stop us from having a wonderful and memorable time regardless. Karen was great to deal with, and I would never hesitate to rent from them again.

  The home was spectacular! Thee floor plan was especially good for our family demographic. We stayed in the downstairs guest room and our daughter, son in law and their 2 children shared the 2nd and 3rd floors. The amenities are top notch (vitamin blender, commercial washer and dryer, abundant cookware and serving pieces, and Keurig coffee machine). Being former landlords, we were sad to see how other families treated this lovely home. Cabinets were gauged and nicked and banisters were scratched. I can only speak for the first floor level, but the lamp bases in the living room and guest bedroom were covered in dust. The 1st floor bathroom shower had not been cleaned of the mold and/or mildew on the floor. The electrical outlet in the 1st floor bathroom as well as in the 2nd floor bathroom directly above the 1st floor bathroom did not work. It wasn't a big issue, but it was inconvenient to blow dry your hair in the bedroom without a mirror. We loved the fireplace!! And, since the weather was so cold, we used it almost every day.

  We took my Granddaughter (recent high school grad), her boyfriend, my Daughter, Son-In-Law and my husband and myself on a week-long vacation to Carillon Beach. We loved the beautiful, spacious home and loved all the amenities and private spaces and porches and views throughout the house. The rooms are open and light and we had plenty of space to be together, Giant puzzle on the dining room table, and be apart (long side porches, lakeside screened porch w/fan, top open lakeside porch w/fan). We loved the keyless entry pad and didn't have to worry about keeping a key. We were a short distance from the Beach Pool and Walkover, also keypad protected, and our 2 sets of Beach lounges. The Large Primary suite had a comfy King bed AND a large sofa, as well as doors that opened onto the upper large side porch and lakeside covered porch. The Oversize Primage bath suite was super private and we loved the 2 water closets for my husband and myself in addition to separate vanities for us to have our own private areas. Deep soaking jetted tub was luxurious and the large shower was wonderful. Three generations of Family all agreed that this home is Perfect for Carillon Beach Vacation. My Granddaughter's boyfriend loved staying in the Tower bedroom with a Fantastic High view of Carillon Beach and it even had a casual beanbag chair TV viewing area also in the Tower. The King beds were super comfortable and the kitchen and laundry room were stocked with Everything that we needed to make the stay very enjoyable. The open plan of the living area was great for watching movies and giving everyone room to feel comfortable and connected. Great Vacation and we have stayed many years in the Beachside Houses with a Large Family group of 12-15, but we barely missed staying right on the Gulf as this home is just steps to the Beach, we Love it's proximity to the Beach Pool and Walkover.
